The Bürgerwindpark im Kirchspiel Medelby GmbH amp; Co. KG had already put four wind farms with overall 27 Senvion 3.2M114 turbines and Senvion MM92 turbines into operation until the beginning of 2015. 22 new Senvion turbines of the company's 2- and 3-megawatt portfolio will now be added to the wind farms.

In total, the wind farms will provide 83.000 households per year with green energy upon completion, nearly half of it due to the planned expansion.
